Scope: To design a viewing lodge for the northern lights in Iceland.

The program is arranged to allow an all around viewing space almost 360 degrees. This is to accommodate the viewing of the northern lights and the surrounding hills. To do so, the lounge and (the gathering area) is faced to the north.

The viewing deck has been divided between all the spaces as a form of a smaller low round deck (accessible from the outside by skiers & others.)

The intersection of the spaces creates a cozy courtyard, to allow for the observation of the sky (northern lights) while inside & out.
